laptop and tablet

I work as a tech engineer and I’m crazy about technology. I’ve been working in this field for three years and, thanks to my job, I have access to the latest gadgets. I currently live in Austin, Texas but was lucky enough to visit tech hubs like Tokyo, New York, London, and Beijing.

I realized that the best way to be thankful for all the opportunities I had is to share my knowledge with the world. The tech industry is a wonderful one but has a few downsides. Technology changes on a constant basis and there are tens of new devices released every year. Therefore, tech geeks need a reliable source of information to help them find the right tablet.

What you’ll find in tabletroms.com

In other words, this blog was born out of necessity from an active consumer of tablets and smartphones. Our articles are useful for any tech fan whether they use their devices for entertainment or work.

You’ll find content like:

Tips

Our articles will bring you tips, comparisons, and advice regarding the latest technology available. Mainly focused on those who want to buy a new tablet, this section will help you figure out how to make that decision. You’re welcome to browse around and find tips and recommendations when it comes to buying tech devices.

Advice

This section is similar to the previous one, except for the fact that it’s more focused on what to do with your tablet after you’ve bought it. Articles like this will help you make the best use of your device and provide advice on how to handle it properly. Cleaning and good maintenance are important, and this blog is a great source to find guidance on these matters.

Events

We, as fans, love the tech events, especially those that are held internationally. We cover the most popular ones like the developers’ conferences held by Microsoft, Apple, and Google. Yet, we don’t forget about other events that are more specific to a certain niche like, for example, gamers.

These events bring important news on the next updates and products that will soon be available. While some conferences focus on their products, like Apple, others offer valuable knowledge for developers, like Microsoft. One way or the other, in this blog, we cover them all.

Most importantly, I don’t only announce the event but publish interesting content summarizing the most important topics.

The best models

One of my favorite things about this blog is the possibility to present models and their new features. If you want a clear example, you can read our entry about the new Xiaomi Pad 6 which is a promising, enhanced version of the Xiaomi Pad 5.

By knowing the latest updates and the soon-to-come products, you can have a clear perspective of where the market is going. This translates into a better decision at the time of buying.

The 21st century is a century of constant change, and this change is led by technology. This means that, if you rely on technology to work or for entertainment, you can’t miss the latest news.

Industry Insights

In line with the previous point, I present the industry insight section. The goal of this type of content is to provide perspective and understanding of the future by knowing our past. Some topics include comparing new tablets with classic models like the 2010 iPad, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and the Google Nexus 7.

These articles intend to give the reader a market perspective, so they have an idea of where the industry is going. Even if we are not upgrading our tablet right now, we love to see what’s new and what to expect from future models.

Writing department

I write most of the articles based on my own experience and with the advice of close friends and colleagues. Since I work in tech engineering and I am a consumer of tablets, I have some experience that I’m happy to share with my readers.

Editorial department

But editing is as important as writing. Luckily, I have the help of my friend Kevin Laselot, who proofreads and edits my pieces. With his fact-checking and attentive eye, my articles reach the highest quality, which is the only thing I allow myself to publish on my blog.

Even though Kevin and I can miss a mistake or two, the content is consistent, reliable, engaging, and informative. Since Kevin is majoring in English, Tabletroms is the ideal place for him to develop his skills.

Having said this, we can safely say that our blog has been properly introduced. As a tech fan and a tablet user, I created this space for all of us to enjoy. Welcome to this adventure! Welcome to tabletroms.com!
