Thanks to a team of developers there is now a one-click root available for the ASUS Transformer. IEF, Kmdm, RaYmAn, Bumble-Bee, and lilstevie have come up with a method which takes advantage of the new Apps Backup Feature.  While it works on Transformer  8.6.5.19, it may also work on the Slider and the 3G model.  It is available for download from the Android Market here- https://market.android.com/details?id=mobi.androidroot.razorclaw.  Called Razorclaw v1, you may also download the apk from here- http://androidroot.mobi/2011/11/14/introducing-razorclaw-v1/
