Duh on me, I stand corrected. Didn't realize the second cell stating that these are Windows 7/8 tablets.

    Thanks

Just found two more win 7 tablets. Both by Netbooknavigator. A 7" and a new 10" tablet. For the paltry sum of $1100 US you get
a 64GB SSD, 2GB DDR2 RAM, a BACKSIDE TRACKPAD with mouse buttons on the 7" model. (Gee where did we hear or see this before?)
Win 7 Pro 32, and unlocked 3G Sierra Wireless. The 7" has an RJ-45 connector. The 10" has micro HDMI. Both come with a case. Optional keyboard and docking stations.
Albert, the 7" has replaceable batteries. Site claims 4.5 hours on a charge.

Just learned of three more Win tablets. All made by General Dynamics. All ruggedized.
All daylight readable and dust and water resistant. Only problem is price. They start at
    over $2000. The GD3015 a 10.4 in screen, and the GD3080 and Duo-Touch II 8.4" screens.
The 3015 weighs in at 2.7 pounds and the 3080 and Duo-Touch are about 4 pounds each.

Just found out that ASUS has dropped the eee slate. However this Friday a whole bunch of new tablets will hit the market
in concert with Windows 8. The HP model is really cool. It looks just like an iPaid but has an optional docking case which
can contain an extra battery and also includes a bunch of additional ports. In addition it is designed to fit in the optional dock
when the case is fitted. The Microsoft Surface also looks impressive. It has a keyboard cover that magnetically attaches.
The "beginner" models all come out Friday and the "high end" versions around Christmas / New Year.

Note: my company was looking to buy some of these for our drivers. I work in the transportation industry.
I acquired my wife a netbook and it has a 10 hour battery life while running windows starter 7. The main drawback was that windows starter was so stripped down it was silly. They took out windows alternate ways and left usefulness, so you needed to utilize indirect access courses to change things like your desktop.
