HP slate 500 is in a nice form factor of 8.9" screen. It has the same advantages of a 7" tablet in terms of size. Yet the 8.9" gives more screen real estate for the Win 7 OS to be nicely useable.

I prefer a 11.6" screen so even though I bought this 8.9", I haven't used it more than 4-5 times. If you're interested, I can sell mine to you.

It has 64GB SSD, 2GB RAM, Intel Atom Processor and a digitizer pen/stylus. It comes with a docking station and protective case. Let me know if you're interested.

Getting a Samsung Slate 7 for Christmas... Little pricey, but it's the equivalent of a mid-range laptop, so I'm happy about that Also runs Win8 perfectly fine (same model as the ones handed out at the MS Build Conference this year)...

    i5 Core@ 1.6 Ghz
    64GB SSD
    4GB DDR3 SDRAM
    11" Multitouch Display (1366x768) - 10 finger sensing
    Digitizer overlay and pen
    Bluetooth/WiFi
    mHDMI and USB ports
    MiniDock

Only down sides I see are lack of Wireless (but that's what my Android phone is for...), weight is a bit high, and the extra cost. Being a table for business use, it runs all the stuff I need it to (Office, Visual Studio, etc).

I'll post a review and some vid after Christmas Oh yeah, cheapest place I've found (with awesome 90-day return policy) is it at Costco.com...

I find the windows tablets very enticing, except for the prices. And I would imagine any less than 4gb ram, and it probably bogs down with multiple applications open.

I've been researching various Win tablets for the office and threw together a spreadsheet with the various specs. The office wants
ones with Trusted Protection Modules. I included the processor benchmarks and the NIT ratings for the displays where I could locate that info.
HP just announced the slate 2 replacing the 500. Dell will be shipping the Latitude ST later this month. Lenovo supposedly has one in the
pipeline but I couldn't locate any real info on it. Still like the ASUS even though the Samsung is "faster". Not sure how to attach the file though.

As to 7" display, Acer Iconia W500 is a 7" model.

Maybe you could scan the spreadsheet, then insert the image. That would be good to see under device reviews, also.
