    Hi MikhailM

You are correct GPS is only available with the 3G module installed.

Mine was a standard Vega but I purchased an internal 3G/GPS upgrade from Richard Lea (DivxDemon) when he had a small supply last year. It is in essence a factory upgrade

    Hi

Like kingfisher's my Vegas has also been upgraded via Richard MLea.

Anyway without further ado, vegan has bee asleep for the last 5 hours and CPU spy reports as follows:
Total time = 16 hours of which 7:43.50@216mhz and deep sleep 7:54.10 with the balance
made up of small increments of time at various frequencies from 312 up 1000 the largest of which was 1000 for 7mins. Battery showing 82 per cent from 98 when put to sleep.
Have still not enabled Vegas performance nor disabled journalling (although I think scanno
has included the Vegas performance attributes in the kernal).
Vegas is very responsive and stable, so far no 'system not responding errors' which were
quite frequent on previous build. Also noticed speed increase in downloads from play store.

Many thanks to etagle, scanno and all the others who have contributed to making my Vega
and it's clones rock. It's awesome.

Hmm, interesting turn of events here. Now tried my Vega on the dock and twice I've had SoD and had to force shutdown. Now going to try again with direct power to Vega instead to make sure that is still ok.

    Update:

45 mins uptime, 38 min deep sleep and no SoD with direct power. Seems I may have a dock issue. Now to try dock without USB wireless mouse attached.

    Hi
Let me know how it works out for you without the mouse as I have one that I was going to use, but if it is causing SODs when used with the dock I will not.

I installed Build 14 over Alpha 12, after wiping the caches & data - no problem. The Vega was asleep for 3:10:40, of which 2:48:17 was Deep Sleep, with no wake-up trouble, so well done gentlemen, you appear to have cured the problem. I visited the PlayStore, which re-installed my few apps, including iDisplay, which installed without a murmur and works nicely, so no idea what went wrong under Build 13, but not concerned. WiFi connected quickly and worked with no complaint.

Looks like the mouse was the issue. Without it plugged in I've had 2hr06 with 1hr51 deep sleep and woke first time on the dock.

For reference the mouse is a Logitech V550 Nano Cordless. Not a problem to me that it doesn't work, but it might have been useful.

Apologies if I have missed an earlier post covering this, but is anybody else missing the reboot to recovery option on the power menu for build 14?
I have flashed alpha 7 then upgraded to build 14 twice, once wiping the tablet between the upgrade and once not and both times the reboot to recovery goes missing in the upgrade.

Edit: Never mind I have found the option in the developers menu

You need to enable Advanced Reboot in the Developer settings.
