Both NVflash version did not work for me last night so I installed Vegacream via NVflash which worked tried both again still no joy so I reinstalled Vegacream and upgraded to JellyBean via CWM which has worked fine

All's working well on my Vega, having CWM flashed VegaBean-Beta2.2-120dpi-Apex.zip several hours ago...

Haven't nvFlashed a ROM in months - 'cos it means dealing with Windows (and I loathe Windows... but that's another story!)

So far everything's good... and with the new version of Link2SD that fixes the permissions issue for JellyBean, I have a full compliment of all my favourite apps installed... (All four versions of Angry Birds, Adobe Flash Player, Chrome Browser, Opera Mobile, Dolphin, Dolphin Beta, Adobe PDF Reader, Google Maps, SteetView, IMDb... and sundry other bits and pieces.)

Strange though, that there should be so many reported issues with the nvFlash versions...

    Hi Ged,

    Any issues to expect/mention ?

Tried the beta2.2 stripped nvflash on top of vegacream rc2 . . . but got a bootloop. Flashed moddedstockv1, then beta2.2 stripped nvflash same bootloop. Downloading now the beta 2.2 full nvflash . . .

    EDIT: still getting a bootloop beta 2.2 full nvflash . . . tried nvflash vegacream rc2 tablet is ok . . . i'll try beta 2.2 cwm . . .
EDIT2: For some reason VegaCream RC2 nvflash also went into bootloop.
Flashed moddedstock V1 and now touchscreen is not working. Flashed one of the test roms to recalibrate touchscreen upon boot, still touchscreen is not working. Flashed another test rom, installed the modified TPUtility and update firmware to 101h, poweroff tablet, reflash original test rom, recalibrate and touchscreen is now working ok.
Flashed beta 2.2 nvflash and still it goes to bootloop, stripped or full version.
Flashed modded stock v1, performed the wipes and installed the beta2.2 cwm. It installed ok but noticed the apks inside the zip on data folder did not get installed. Installed filemanager via google play and everything looks ok. For the recovery I got the old recovery 3.0.2.4 from modstock v1, installed the latest touch recovery and it is ok.
I dunno if too many flashes caused the touchscreen not to work and also why vegacream rc2 now also causes bootloop. But so far JB is now working ok. Thanks.

    Hi Ryan,

What do you mean with "touch recovery" ?

I have oversensitive screen very often and that got me interested... ;-)

    Regards !

    Hi MikhaiM

I used the CWM version (Full wipe + plus dalvik)

Hope this helps. BTW going back to VegaCream RC2 due to 3G not operating and also I like
my screen in 160dpi and VegaBean at 160 uses Nexuslauncher which I don't like.

sorry for confusion, touch recovery is scannos updated cwm that works also using touchscreen. the old cwm only works using the volume / power buttons.

for the sensitive touchscreen i would suggest trying to flash the it7260 firmware . . .

    Don't worry... ;-)

Besides, I tested every combination of firmware/config for the panel, no way... only works 100% "safe" in original ROM... seems we need new drivers for IT7260 in Android 4.x ...

    Thanks and Regards !
