    [ROM] VegaICS [PATCHED]

    Hi,

Just a VegaICS in which I patched a lot of things.

    Changelog from VegaICS Beta 1:

    -Increased Speed
-RAM optimized, lack of RAM problems gone.
    -Stability increased.
    -Includes eduardo's touchscreen fix
-Patch 2 does have a oversensitive power button, this is because of Eduardo's kernel. Patch 2 is just to test if touchscreen problems have been solved.

I created a new thread because CWM gave me problems with this patch and now it needs to be flashed through nvflash.
Most patches from scanno that do not replace framework.sfs, vega_postboot.sh, /data and build.prop should work fine.

    Patch 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?yaqxhh1g09onhma

    Kind Regards,
    Areo

Can we have this as a CWM so it's reversible please. I also don't want to restore or reinstall all my apps. Thanks.

OK, so I installed it and it's not as as stable as Beta1.

    Screen transitions seem laggy.
Opening the App Drawer isn't smooth.
Screen rotation is slow with a long delay of blank screen before the screen actually rotates.
Riptide GP crashed once on loading the first course and then again mid play.

    Going back to Beta1.

    Hi Areo,
Have loaded the update and it all seems to be great, all applications seem to start up faster, moving around the screen is very smooth. All apps I've tried are working fine.
Thanks very much for continuing your development work, long may you continue (in spite of winging feedback).
    Regards, Kevin

    Hi Aero ...

Do you switch from honey ice to vegaICS ?

Could be a good idea to focus on the best Android Release for the Tablet and realease a perfect ROM.
Both Releases are nearly perfect ....my dream is a combination - best of both worlds

We are all happy Areo is supporting further VegaICS improvements, but I for one still hope he will return and iron out the very few remaining issues on HoneyIce Chimera.

I wonder if we could leave old versions of android and focus in this verision, damn all want someting, leave to work as they want, chimera works fine but ICS is now the new Android, maybe the companies leave to support all old versions, (DNTB) i be just starting a joke.
