Someone asked about Pulse on Corvus. I honestly don't know what it looks like on HoneyComb..

    This is running at 150dpi..

    HoneyComb

For those of you trying out the Corvus ROM I would strongly suggest using the Honeycomb theme released a while ago by Partner, it really is the icing on the cake.

As noted the VTL Launcher is really good with the Corvus ROM, especially if you wish to change the DPI as it scales the icons etc on the desktop much easier.

Whilst aesthetically it is not as good as a true HC ROM it is both fast and completely stable. The only issue I have had is that some specific HC apps will not work and both the Youtube and IMDB apps look completely different, but that is only cosmetic.

I have uploaded the Honeycomb theme for Corvus here...

    honeycomb theme-v3.zip 2shared - download

    Just flash in CWM.

    Flash,
I like the look of the screen shot, but do you use \ want the phone menu on the righthand side?

Does VTL have options for gestures? If so what I have done with my Corvus5 Rom is to use the launcher to have this menu hidden. So enable the getsture to hide the menu and then change the gesture whilst it is hidden, so it doesn't re-appear. The to enable access to the app draw use a gesture again (IE swipe down), which also allows from any page I am on and not just home screen.
I also then have gesture swipe up to go back to the home screen from anywhere.
It all works really well and speeds up navigating round the Tab.

Thanks, that looks pretty much the same. Very nice. I think I´ll really switch to Corvus, the HoneyComb-ROMs always look good, but do have some serious issues in the end.

Does Corvus5 have decent Copy & Paste, or is it like in Froyo? That would be a reason to stay away.

The right menu is button saviour. It's an app that overlays on all other apps. I hate having the back button on the top of the Vega. You just click the 'cross' to hide it.

Guestures are good.. I use swipe up to open the app draw. But what do you mean 'from any page'. Clearly doing it from an app doesn't work!

Copy and paste.. From Dolphin I can long click, select the option to 'select text' and then highlight what I want. You then get a popup for copy, search, share, more.

Going back to Corvus too. Lots of issues with ICS Alpha 3 still. I think I'll still here for a while and give the others a miss until I see a bit more positive feedback on the threads. They just aren't stable enough for decent use on my tablet
