Hi, I have installed HoneyIce 3.2.7 RC3 Chimera Edition, and I know the 101 error message is a common issue, but I have experienced almost every other time I have to remove my google account and clear data to start over in order to use google play on Vega!!

I just wondering is there gonna be a fix or better way to solve this problem? as it is getting very irritating and annoying now. I don't know it is just me having so much trouble with it or most people do?

I got this too but the fix for me was to make sure i was signed into google talk first.. otherwise i had to keep removing and re adding my account.

Refer to page 722 as described by MikhailM as his instructions helped to solved mine after many frustrating trials and errors. Its said to clear data of google framework service in application then reboot to cwm and wipe dalvik cache and reboot again.

I'm trying to resolve a wifi issue for somebody over at MoDaCo who has just flashed HoneyIce Chimera...

The problem seems to be, that on reboot, wifi connectivity is lost and they have to "broadcast the network name on the router everytime I want to get online with the Vega"... (I have no idea what that means).

Now, what I know about the technical intricacies of wifi routers can be written on the back of a stamp!

So if anybody has any ideas, the original post is here...

Now, a quick question not only to LeoP but everyone, how the hell do i keep 3G data on in standby ?

To keep 3G on when the tablet is on standby you have to set the tablet not to go into sleep mode with only the screen turning off to save energy. You have to activate "never sleep" in Settings.

You could always ask why they bother to hide the broadcasting of the SSID in the first place..? Some devices don't seem to be able to identify and connect to a wireless network if the user decides to untick the option to broadcast the SSID. Some think that it adds another layer to the security but if they are suitably encrypted with WPA that is suffice.

Just a thought

BTW - just for the hell of it my wireless network is called....

So the tablet cannot sleep and maintain a regular data connection? just like a ordinary cellphone ?
