All of a sudden my vega won't boot. I managed to get it into nvflash mode but when I try to reload the stock rom 1.09 I get the following:

Is there anything I can do?
Took it in to my local pcw and they've sent it off for repair.
my viewpad 10s also have same problem...a few day ago...
i'm searching through internet to find if there are solutions for these problem, until find your thread here.
i'm just want to know, what is problem regarding these error.
is it your vega already repair it, or not. If yes..is it hardware failure or something else,
cause..if hardware problem,my viewpad 10s also need sent to service centre too for repairing
It's still being repaired - I dropped it off at my local pcworld and it took them 4 days to send it off! Apparently it needs a new mainboard and they are waiting for one to arrive. Before I sent it off I found that I could occasionally get it to boot my grabbing the short sides and twisting it - seems like there is a bad joint in there somewhere. Problem was it would eventually lock up again, although it wouldn't crash - if I twisted it again it would carry on like nothing happened, and bizarrely when it unfroze it would process any touchscreen events I had done while it was locked up. Looks to me like the processor wasn't getting a clock signal.
Anyway, got to wait to see what happens when it comes back. When I took it in I had it in the box with the charger, but they took it out the box to send it off, and sent the charger with it. However, the lad on the desk didn't mark on the docket that the charger was included until I pointed it out to him. If there is any damage to the screen, or the charger isn't returned with it I will be giving them a piece of my mind.
Hopefully it will be back sometime this week.
Just had a call to say it is back from repair so I will pick it up on the way home tonight.
Well it looks like it is fixed, although I have problems when I restore the nandroid backup I made after it stopped working. So I took the plunge and put VegaICS on and have to say I'm really impressed
p.s. To be fair to DSG it had the psu with it and have been placed in bubble wrap bags inside a large plastic container. Additionally, the technician had cleaned the screen for me![]()
