People, I was just wondering if this could be related to the DPI defined for vegacomb.
I'll give it a try when I get back home with diferent DPI values, and I'll let you know what I found out.
If anyone beats me to the tests, please also post results.

Probably because the vega is mirroring its native res (1024x600) to the tv screen, most likely HD spec ... at the moment its unknown on how to get around this ,... did this work as you expected on earlier roms like stock ?

    Cheers

what we need is a media player like u tube which will play files and url's. The u tube player goes into a blank screen mode when connected to the dock which is why it plays at full screen I think. I don't know enough about it to make this work but perhaps there is someone who knows how to mod an app.

    Hi Cass

Yes, HDMI output worked properly and as expected on stock.

In fact, as previously mentioned, there are several apps that force their output through HDMI and leave the Vega screen as is.

utube is one of them, Vulcano client (streaming from Vulcano) also does this.

How about the sound output? I plan to wire my Vega with my stereo over e.g. this converter: HDMI LPCM Dolby Digital To Multi-Channel/Optical Audio Decoder With Amplifier
    Would that work?
