ASUS STOCK 3.2 and PRIME beta 1.7 patch (calibration window fix)

Annoying compass calibration fix for Asus honeycomb 3.2
I don't find the rom online here, but here is a patch, that removes the annoying calibration window, that keeps popping up in Maps and games using compass sensors.

download PRIME! v1.7 beta patch here

download STOCK ASUS 3.2(8.5.5.6) patch here

Patch installs using clockworkmod, or a manual copy of the contents of /system in zip to /system if you want to.

And how is this applied on the TF?
    (tool, script, unpack and overwrite?)

can be installed using "clockworkmod". but a manual copy of contents in the "/system" folder to /system might do it as well.

patches normally need CWM to install.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with WW version 8.5.5.7. Hangs on boot. Had to do a hard reset

Would an undo patch be possible perhaps?

    Thanks.

Hmm, I installed Prime 1.7 beta and then tried the prime version of this patch. Same issues. It messes with the dock. If the tablet is docked it will not boot. If you boot the tablet off the dock and then plug it into the dock it immediately reboots. Also seems to mess with the wifi.

I notice that the replacement service.jar is less than half the size of the original one. Looks like more than just the compass calibration is knocked out perhaps?

the patch is not changing any dock issues.. that must be a kernel issue, which is not fixed..

i can tell you i got my Acer docked using the 3.2 asus release and no reboots here..
