Can the Keyboard dock be used backwards?

I am looking into ridding myself of the disappointment that is the Adam, and have done a lot of research, but I have not come across any mention of whether you can dock the tablet backwards in the Keyboard dock so as to store the keyboard below the device while not in use. I assume that because it uses the proprietary adapter to attach itself to the dock that it won't be possible. Can someone please confirm?

No it is not possible. Would be nice if it did work.

Well certainly not a deal breaker. Just means I'll have to try my hand at a little hardware modding once I get it. Thanks for the reply.

Well if you get it to work, let us know with a step by step ASUS modding for dummies guide.. I'd be interested in it.

TacoAssassin, This isn't going to be very straight forward. The clamp/plug/hinge of the keyboard that the tablet locks into mates to a curved face on one side and a flat face on the other, so turning the tablet around in the clamp isn't going to work. The clamp hinges against pins that are part of the body of the clamp, so to make it rotate you would need an entirely new piece to fit the keyboard like the clamp and the clamp like the keyboard with some pivot mechanism between them. Some major engineering there to get it to pivot and mate the two together smoothly also. Even once you solve that, you have a curved back of the tablet trying to mate with the smooth face of the keyboard, needing additional molding to fill in the empty space.
It is much easier to just decouple the tablet from the keyboard and use it separately when you don't want the keyboard to work.
Having said all that, I'm looking forward to your ingenious solution ;-)
    Luck,
