Seems like all tegra 2 devices have had the issue.

my acer don't and i do not remember many posts on that being an issue.. but i could be wrong..
the first 3-4 months i did folio100 mod's i never experienced SOD, so it can be production related so kernels have to be aware of hardware revisions. but its sad to see it repeated from toshiba once more..

I think the sleep issue is overrated and certainly should not be referred to as the "Sleep of Death." Since the update on Tuesday morning I have had no issues and what seems to be better battery life. On another positive note, I plugged in my Microsoft USB Bluetooth keyboard today and it works flawlessly. In fact this entire message was typed using the keyboard. It is really nice to have the control keys back.

UPDATE: For S&Gs I plugged in my Logitech mouse adapter and it worked; mouse pointer and everything.

Lol, EVERY Tegra 2 device I know of to date has had the issue for some reason. It should be fixable.

I agree...after a week I am glad I returned the HP Touchpad, (moreso as it has gone "belly-up") it was either the HP 32GB at $400 or the Thrive at $600 so I went with the HP and returned it. Then Fry's had the 16gb on sale for $350 w/case so got it and now the 32gb is $400 w/case will see if I can exchange today....

I think the sleeping r issue is exaggerated and unquestionably ought not be alluded to as the "Slumber of Death." Since the redesign on Tuesday morning I have had no issues and what appears to be better battery life. On an alternate positive note, I connected to my Microsoft USB Bluetooth console today and it works impeccably. Indeed this whole message was written utilizing the console. It is truly pleasant to have the control keys back.
