    Agreed.

Quickoffice is ok, Docs to Go is sufficient... but nothing leverages the tablet format effective.

Actually I have found Polaris Office to be really good so far, but I agree. I would be willing to help with an open source android office project focusing initially on documents and spreadsheets.

Ya we do... There's nothing really available right now that would allow me to chuck out my laptop.

    Cheers

I'm curious as to what exactly you guys are looking for. I use Docstogo myself and have no issues with it. What's missing?

Your right its not but then I guess I don't expect it to be. I don't usually need to create documents with things like that so never really thought about it. I wonder if your request will ever be filled.

[showing my age]Zero, you're prolly too young to remember designing pretty HTML pages from scratch, using a vanilla text editor... but that method still works... [/showing my age]

Im 30 and have 16 years of on the job experience. Got my Commodore 64c at about 8 years old. Had a web design business at 16, and work for a fortune 100 company as both an admin and software tester of enterprise n-tier web based apps. I do all my coding with Notepad++ and page refreshes. I could go on and on, but the point is that these tablets are now supporting external input devices. We now need good productivity apps.
