cracked digitizer

Does anyone know where to get a replacement digitizer, my daughter dropped our tablet and cracked the screen?

Visual Land says that they dont repair them nor sell the digitizers but I can exchange it for a new one at a discounted price. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a source for these. I finally have this tablet running great and I'll hate returning it for a cracked screen.

Well, shoot. I had a similar episode with the viewsonic G tab a while back, and the most economical thing to do is to find a damaged tablet of the same model, and put the others digitizer onto yours.

On other tablet I have removed the digitizer and on either the ribbon cable or the inside of the digitizer are some numbers, on some not all. I then searched sights like Aliexpress, or Alibaba and found replacements. About 1/4 arrived and still wouldn't work. Depending on how much the offer is to replace it, it might be the best way. Some digitizers with shipping can run $50 or more because you can only get them from China. Or buy a broken one like Macktion said. But right now the only ones on Ebay have cracked digitizers
