tenchi, Thanks for keeping our adam alive till now.

Just downloaded and will be trying tonight. This rom still seems experimental.

According to you which is the most stable and usable daily driver rom?

No need for 3G, camera. Basically was thinking to take the tablet in car now.

If possible will try to have android auto on the adam. Any thoughts ?

I use this ROM on a daily basis without issues as long as you avoid installing Google Apps it seems to be fine for me. GPS may have problems locking on for Android Auto though and may not run without Google Apps.

I've installed this rom. I think I've installed it on the external microsd card but I'm confused enough about partitions and such to not be absolutely positive.

I'm finding it to be so slow as to be unusable. Basically all I want is an ebook reader--I use Aldiko. However this is so slow that every 5th or 6th pageturn takes a minute or so and if I accidentally rotate the tablet it takes a minute to update the screen.

Is there something wrong with the way I installed it, or is this rom just that slow? If it's the rom, do you have a recommendation on which one to use.

Thanks for keeping this tablet alive for so many years!

Okay, reinstalling without Google Apps made a HUGE difference.

It turned out that this ROM for flaching on external card.
But I can not understand where to write this command: "setprop intboot 1" in terminal for internal install..
In terminal - but were? But in the terminal it is suggested to first choose the start folder, but which folder should I choose? I chose the folder where the ROM is located, but it also does not work. If I select the /system folder, I get the same thing. What else should I choose and what is the exact procedure for changing the default location from external to internal install?
Or maybe you will give another ROM (for internal installation)?

When you're booted into the recovery--TWRP--navigate to Advanced and then to Terminal.

It shouldn't matter which directory you are in in terminal, once you're there just type the command. Just do this before installing the rom (also in TWRP) and you should be fine.

    I wrote above - I did so:
I chose the folder where the ROM is located, but it also does not work.
    or
If I select the /system folder, I get the same thing.
Of course after selecting a folder I sent a command in terminal. And still can not flash.

Sorry, it's been months since I did that and I can't remember exactly how I did it. We'll need to wait for the OP (tenchi) to come back and give the answer.

    Yes, bingo!
Just had not choose any concrete folder, but simply at once click on the "Select Folder" button, then enter the command (i see in the log line "/ # setprop intboot 1") and go to flashing ROM.

    UPD:
    1. But i not understand - how work in Adam w/o Google Apps..
I install Opera, but him not connect nowhere. And also I can not create an account on Adam, when I click the "Add account" button and nothing happens.
    2. I do not understand how Tenchi works on Adam without Google Apps.
But without Google this ROM works fast (and fast response), it's true. But what to do there without the Internet? (note - wi-fi connects without problems)

It depends on what you're hoping to do with your tablet. In my case the only thing I wanted to do was use a reading app (Aldiko) to read books. So really the only thing I needed to do was load that app onto my phone.

With the Google Play Store it would have been easy.

Since I didn't have the Play Store, I had to connect to my computer using a usb cable and "sideload" the app using "adb install". If you search for those terms online you'll find instructions on how to do this. It also means you need to find the .apk file somewhere. If all this seems more difficult than you can figure out, you might be better off going back to an older rom that can use Google Apps better.
