[M-ROM] Tenchi's Omni-ROM Marshmallow Android 6.x for ADAM [WIP]

i manged to use TWRP terminal to flash boot.img and now even adb doent work as earlier. neither is nv flash working.
but TWRP continues to work.. so i install 6.0.1_r22 2016-03-17 twrp v7 ZIP internal after creating the partitions .

it says unable to mount /system : device or resource busy

any idea

Sorry about that the 3-17 build was using wrong 2 partition v6 layout for installer, so it is not usable. I will make a new build shortly which uses v7 and updated ROM.

I installed the new ROM . this time no errors except the /cache partition error which i read somewhere can be ignored. so installation is complete .

Finally adam is starting with new kitkat...

on Google Apps page The Open GApps Project there are choice to be made. for Adam 3g E-ink with Kitkat on it, i guess the newbies like me should select ARM, Andriod - 6 , Variant - Stock. so i tried it

after installing gapps ARM, Andriod - 6 , Variant - Stock using TWRP , it rebooted 2 times optimizing the apps etc and finally a dialog appears " Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped". So i again rebooted and again it optimized and again it finally showed the same message " Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped". on clicking ok, the dialog reappears. Again stuck..

so i re-installed kitkat ROM and then install ARM, Andriod - 6 , Variant - pico . still i get " Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped" . so i am struck with no additional ideas.
please help

Yes those /cache errors can be ignored.

If you install google apps after first boot you need to do full factory wipe otherwise you will get the "Setup Wizard has stopped" on boot up as you did.

BTW: This is a Marshmallow not kitkat ROM just that the new forum space was created after the fact so that's why this is still in kitkat area...

It is up to you which variant you want, just depends on your app needs. That is the right version though.

I did factory wipe using TWRP and rebooted the adam. still the same message.

Another thing you can try is to remove the Setup Wizard app in twrp mount /system and then go into Advanced - Terminal type "rm -rf /system/priv-app/SetupWizard".
