    Changed /system/etc/adam_preboot to 1000 MHz maximum. That allowed me to boot up the Adam.

    Comparing to my other Adam (with latest Slim rom), the voltages with your cm12 rom are about 150 mV higher for 216 MHz, 312 MHz, 456 MHz, 608 MHz, 760 MHz; about 175 mV higher for 816 MHz; about 200 mV higher for 912 MHz, 1000 MHz, 1200 MHz; about 100 mV higher for 1408 MHz; about 75 mV higher for 1504 MHz; about 0 mV diffferent for 1600 MHz, 1704 MHz; and about 50 mV higher for 1640MHz.

    I'll experiment sometime or other -- but changing voltages is NOT my thing.

    I installed this new rom. After first boot completed, required a paperclip reset, but several more reboots later all seems well.
    I tried removing "keepawake" wakelock but on resume I get..

    [ 132.978018] tegradc tegradc.1: resume

    I manually added a wakelock. Now when screen is off, still with heartbeat, adam won't wake. I can "adb shell" , cat /proc/kmsg.
    On pressing "back" button I get this... (but screen stays blank).
    <7>[ 5603.707981] wake_event type: 1, code: 158, value: 1
    <7>[ 5603.715706] wake_event == value: 1

    <7>[ 5603.918033] wake_event type: 1, code: 158, value: 0
    <7>[ 5603.925973] wake_event == value: 0
    <7>[ 5603.933119] wake_event cancel shutdown

    I made another boot.img with your current ramdisk, but kernel from 5.0.1.
    Now adam wont deep sleep, heartbeat keeps flashing with no active wakelocks,but adam still won't wake. Now on button press no response in kmsg.

    edit: made another boot.img with Borkata's kernel, same result as last. I'll try swapping "power.tegra" files next.

    edit2: tried replacing power.tegra.so with other one you released, with original boot.img and "keepawake" wakelock.
    My adam won't wake, eventually it crashes and reboots.

    Guess that confirms that SOD is caused by Lollipop and not kernel then at least on your adam... I wonder if we should go back and try Kitkat again with some of my recent changes see if they work on mine or yours?

    Which recent Kitkat ROM doesn't have SOD for you?

    That does seem odd as I thought I had reduced the voltages... anyways it seems I will go back to old slim power settings then if that is the case for next release.

    I think cm11 is the most mature, will reinstall and test.
    edit: installed cm11 04/Nov. Only change, I added : echo 0 >/sys/module/cpuidle/parameters/lp2_in_idle
    to : /system/etc/adam_preboot.sh
    immediately after wakeup ,adb shell, cat /proc/kmsg , ...http://pastebin.com/dMVY99L1
    wakes fine.

    Still no luck even with cm11 and lp2 parameter set to 0 and even tried a few different variations of changes to kernel...

    How does your log compare?

    edit: If yours idles at 316mhz ok, then what if you try lifting the "sleep" freq to a known working value?
    See if we can attack it from a different angle..

    Your log got deleted on pastebin, but it does wake about 1/10 times for some odd reason it seems to be frozen at during sleep process most of the time. Increasing idle freq to 389mhz and reducing max clock to 1ghz did not help.

    Any other ideas?
