Lower power consumption was one thing I was looking for a long time now and 4% usage per hour is a great news. You mean 4% when the tablet is being used right? This is unbelievable for Adam - it translates to 24 hours active use. (Especially because till recently we were struggling to get 24 hour even when the Adam is sleeping. Only with PACMAN + 3.1 kernel things had improved)

nice rom thanks Tenchi, runs nice and smooth .
I see you've been experimenting with usb power settings.
I flashed my boot image over the top to clock it down just a bit.

Apart from this one, is there any ROM with the latest changes in kernel like ADB/USB, SELinux and app install privileges? I read alot about testing special kernel builds and greatly appreciate the work ( ! ) but i'd love to see a new built of Cyanogen for example.

Actually I meant to say 4% during sleep, during usage is still about 15-20% per hour.

That is good to hear that it is working good for you
Yeah have been trying still a bit to get USB working okay on mine...
You may want to check out some of the changed settings seem to help make things smoother and new kernel has improved camera and various other tweaks.

A word of warning don't do a gesture lock screen... going into infinite looping of locking over and over again... will have to do data wipe on mine because of it.

All those features should be in the latest kernel, some features like network adb and more detailed app privileges are part of ROMs. May post my own version of Cyanogenmod later.

the later roms have /system mounted r/w by default, or you could add my boot image to do that for you on earlier roms. All kitkat roms here are selinux enabled except Slim.

Actually I didn't need rw on system once I restored original 751 access on /storage and restorecon_recursive /data which is now in recent ROMs.

    Gents,
It seems I have managed to wreck the partitions of my Adam.

I tried to manually format system/cache/data and sdcard from CWM recovery (6.0.4.7). This recovery was updated with the new img posted on this page. But could only format system and cache. For both data and sdcard an error message says ..unable to mount......I tried mounting...but no joy...!

I also flashed the Nvflash from -KatKiss 4.3.1 ADAM 2014-02-06-....but upon completion it says...Encryption not successful.....

So not sure where I am going wrong....

Upon flashing the Rom...both Paranoid and Pacman 4.4....and on booting I get this dreaded prompt..

    "unfortunately, settings has stopped"
    "unfortunately, omniswich has stopped"
    "unfortunately, mobile data has stopped"
    "unfortunately, AOSP keyboard has stopped"

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Yesterday...I did manage to get Eden nvflash from Notionink who responded within 2 hrs to my e-mail and provided me with a dropbox link...!

If nothing helps then I will flash with Eden first and then nvflash CM9 AIO package...which please confirm is correct....and later I could flash a KK Rom.
Do I need to reflash CWM recovery too??

    Many thanks.
