Yes but you could leave your phone in one room and take your Adam to another. You would have a perfect scam. Offcourse you will need to find some reattachable tape.

The microphone also picks up the sound. So a lot of possibilities.

Usage of USB webcam (android 4.0.3)

Instead of using your phone as a tether to gain camera function perhaps a different approach such as adding a USB camera (we have 2 usb ports after all, why not use them).

Even though this was done on a Galaxy Nexus in YouTube clip (as shown in link) the source code is also available for download and indicates "Supported platform : Iconia Tab A500". The video goes on to show using two webcams together to produce 3d view also (red and green classes required). Some face detect features also noted. Can a dev use the code to give adam a webcam, I hope so.

Granted most webcams are lower than the stock adam 3.2mp camera but it opens the door to further hardware hacks such as fully replacing the stock camera with a usb camera hooked up internally.
    *Running JB-ROM CM10.1 for ADAM [WIP] - Alpha1, w/webcam drivers built in.*

    also possible.

but i want to point out that you will always carry your phone with you anyway. so no extra hardware needed, no strange bumps, or extra on your adam.

Also, I think we should consider changing the camera itself on the Adam

I figure we could mount two phone cameras with known drivers where the swivel one is, and while we have the case open, mount a standard phone 3mm two point audio/Mic jack. Something to remove the mysteries.
