    Backing up SDcard

I have read few posts recommending formatting the SDcard for ICS....... my DeadCreme is generally OK but with some lag..... but I will probably format it before I flash the next version of DC.

However - as I am already running DC and the USB / PC link is not yet working - what is the best way to back up the SDcard - as I have a lot of stuff on there?

It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers.

I uploaded my apps with titanium to dropbox and then made a selection of the stuff I wanted to keep of files and suchlike and uploaded those to my NAS with es file explorer. After that I wiped the whole lot.

Thanks guys - Finally I used RootExplorer to copy the entire SD card to my external SD card....... then moved the external SD to my laptop and cleaned up the entire SD card including the back up.

I noticed that my external SD card had a bunch of (empty) standard Android folderson there - I guess this happened when the early version of ICS had the mounts for the internal / external cards swapped.

Will check out AirDroid - sounds interesting.

Many people like to store their photos and videos on the SD cards of their Android phone. It's easy and convenient enough. However, you may sometimes accidentally format your card or delete files or data like photos, messages and documents from SD card. Besides that, situation unexpected happens now and then, like your SD card becomes inaccessible due to data corruption, virus infection with your SD card, power failure and so on. Most importantly, you forget to do backup.
When facing these situations, don't worry. With the Android Data Recovery, you can backup data from SD cards on Android devices. This recovery tool has several distinctive features.
