No Flash on the Nexus 7?

I just read an article stating that the nexus 7 doesn't support adobe flash based websites. Does that mean you can't download the flash app on the play store? I would guess that there would be a work around if you root the device.
I know flash is dying out, but there are still many sites that are flash only, and if I wanted a device with no flash support then I might as well buy an ipad.

Please someone enlighten me I would greatly appreciate it

Adobe stated that they would not be making flash past android 4.1, so its probably accurate.

Most websites will be going away from flash anyway so in no too long a time not having flash won't matter. Apple seems to be somewhat successful without it.
    ASUS Vivotab Smart
Barnes & Nobles Nook HD+, rooted
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9", finally rooted
    Google Nexus 5, Elix-R rom
    Asus Memo Pad 7

Thanks for the reply's guys. As long as there is a workaround, like side loading, then its fine with me. Yes most sites don't use flash, but some do, like a local restaurant, that I want to see their menu when I am traveling.
If I am traveling, I want to browse the web on my tablet. That's the whole reason I have a tablet is for portability, so I don't have to lug my 17inch laptop with me. But the average person has no idea about flash or html5, that is why apple is successful with limiting their devices to only certain functions.
I still keep asking my apple friends if they have widgets for their wonderful retina display Ipad's....but they still don't.

Actually, I don't think any version of Flash works with Android Jelly Bean. However, several browsers (not Chrome) support Flash. The easiest way to get Flash support for your Nexus 7 is to download the flash apk (click here -> Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: com.adobe.flashplayer-111111005-11.1.111.5.apk) and install it. Then download Boat Browser from the Play Store (free, the blue one, not green icon). Then do your browsing with Boat and when you get a flash video it will just play, no fiddling arround. There are several browsers that have built in Flash support, but I like Boat best.

Yeah ! I have heard about it, I guess that gonna affect internet surfing experience as it will not support too many cool browsers and websites. I hope they fix it soon.
