Getting spam from the forum

Hi,

I registered here to receive notifications and talk about Vega tablet development. I use unique addresses each time I register to a new forum, so I can track which site sells my email address to advertisers.

Long story short, I've registered here for a few weeks and I'm now receiving about 10 porn/meds spam per day on this address. So either you have a security problem or you're selling your member's addresses to advertisers ...

Please stop this behavior !

Did this just start recently? The site was hacked the other day so it could be related.

Its possible that the email addresses were stolen during the intrusion, but your address was not sold or given away by free will and though security is a high priority anything can be hacked. That is why passwords are hashed and good internet practices are a must.

Sorry for late reply, I didn't enable notifications on this topic.

I received the first spam on 19/02. It seems to have stopped now.

If you were hacked that explains all ! Sorry for being a bit harsh
