Fixed, thanks. Anyway, all downloads (patched ConnectBot included) are available in "Downloads" section of the SourceForge project.

    Hi Androq,
Eventually I tried your chroot. Its extremely easy to install for newbys like me, and it works nicely.

I tried to install libreoffice with apt-get but I couldn't.
Do I need to type any special script for the ubuntu chroot?

    Thanks

Edam, great, thanks for confirming it works for you.

As for Libre Office, if you're using ubuntu-small-jaunty-armel.img, then well, it's Ubuntu Jaunty aka 9.04 - there wasn't Libre Office (releases) then ;-).

So, try Open Office instead. Specifically, following should work for Writer:

    apt-get install openoffice.org-writer

    If in doubt, use:

    apt-cache search openoffice

    to list all related packages.

Final word is why Jaunty is provided: it's the last version which supported ARMv5, the "classic" ARM architecture which is still used in lots of devices, especially cheaper ones. And I want, first of all, to provide a solution which works on any Android device. And well, 2009 is not that old you know ;-).

Some time later I plan to try newer versions of Ubuntu, but there're even more priority stuff to do before that.

    Hi again Androq,

I have read that the the last version of ubuntu, 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot has support for arm. so I was wondering if it could also be used to make a chroot
