Post [ROM] Century Eyes alternative 1.2-based firmware

A ROM based on the Notion Ink Adam firmware. With the lastest update, I feel that this ROM is at least ready for general use, so I'm posting it.

This is a 1.2-based ROM, which means that it's based off the latest Viewsonic firmware and 1.1 users (ie. anyone using ROMs off XDA) just need to be careful when you jump.

Yep, Market is in there. That almost a given, with these ROMs. It's similar to EDENx, but for the GTAB.

Tmk, it's not going to be that easy as the orientation is different, as well as the camera and Wifi - I know this because of my own VEGA ports. It probably wouldn't even load as is, and even if it did the screen orientation would be all messed up.

For all intents and purposes, this is an "EDENx" port to the GTAB (the concept is the same). Any idea if anyone on the VEGA end of things has ported EDENx? Again, there are definitely some under-the-hood changes that would be needed.

    thank you

thx for the fast reply. I was only naive because I seen that the 2 tabs are mostly identical in terms of hardware.

Was thinking to nvflash the stock firmware of the gtab and add the rom but now im not gonna try it

Anyway, the rom looks really good, cool that you are developing a port of eden

Finally - A ROM that really works. Thanks for this. NOW, how can I get to Root so I can get rid of the apps that have no functionality. GTab has (as far as I can tell) any hardware for GPS or audio input nor will it act like a phone, so I'd like to remove Latitude, Phone, Places, Search (google search is already here), Sound Record, Talk, Voice and Voice Search - yet the uninstall button is greyed out in the settings menu. BTW Roebeet, where's your donate button?
