Ok..just completed a battery test on my A7. I'm using CM7 currently. Mine died right at 3hrs. 60% wifi/YouTube ..20% audio ..20% ereader
Hopefully Dexter will come out with a brightness control patch soon so the battery will last a bit longer. Personally the brightness is set a bit to high for me.
is it good to discharge the battery completely once in awhile?
For the time being(Just as Long As you Have Chainfire3D), You can download Chainfire's app called CF.Lumen(Free). Similar to nightmode on Chainfire3d but more custmizable. I add a widget on my homescreen to tap when i want to tint my screen. Just my 2 cents

However, in this case , I think that apps like Lux and the one you mentioned don't acutally lower the brightness, they just "filter" the screen to make it appear dimmer (but it still uses the same battery power, I believe...).
FYI - I use Lux on my Transformer becuase the built-in auto-brightness is absolutley horrible on the Transformer. With Lux, the auto-brightness is actually useful (and customize-able)! Lux can acutally raise and lower the real brightness on the Transformer....
Thanks for the input!
wish you would have gotten a transformer dexter and I would have been able to still enjoy your creations.
