    So,
I am sure that some of you will get a kick out of this:
The Walmart.com product description of the Prestige 7 features my pocket test from the video review in the pictures.

...and you wont even be able to get credit where credit is due. Those are nice pants, by the way.
    Notion Ink ADAM LCD/wifi
    Cromnia Rom was my favorite.
    Loved using VEGAn-GE-Adam.
Currently running Jelly Bean - Beta 1

Credit for my pocket doesn't matter to me, I am just happy for the extra exposure. Glad that it is decent exposure.
They are very durable pants too! The only ones that seem to last a full climbing season on sandstone.

Got an email today from Visual Land, they have resolved the Skype issue, and are working on the Netflix issue. Quick work!

AND the Google Play issue. Granted, you have to root the tablet, but hey.

When they get Google Play working, would that come OTA, or would the user have to flash a new ROM?

It can be done right now. It does require you to mess around with the root files, which means it will void your warranty, but you can do it.
I posted a video Tutorial on how.

as for future availability of Google Play, I don't know, but I will get back to you as soon as I do.
    Thanks for the question.

hmmmm i just purchased this tablet after a few days of checking out the reviews and your video review( which was great ) . i jumped on it because bestbuy has them for $129 this weekend for mothers day sale. but now i am a bit worried. should i have waited longer for this "second batch" or did visual land say any thing about replacing the batteries for people with the "first batch " . i thought i'd ask since you seem to have very good contact with them ....

Thanks for the praise monkeey. I am glad that you enjoyed the review. I have not heard anything about a replacement program or anything. Its possible that your tablet will not have any problems. I will see what information I can find on the subject, but I will be extraordinarily busy with the CTIA wireless convention for the next 5 days or so. So you might have a faster answer to your question if you ask Visual Land support. However, I will see what I can find out about replacing the batteries.

Wait. The Prestige didn;t come pre-rooted like the Connect? I wonder why they did that.
