    Still in Boot Loop

    Hi all,
I think I'm the only one who can't resolve boot loop problem...

I've tried everything... wiping everything (with cw), installing all kind of custom roms, doing official reset procedure... nothing...

    Please make the miracle!!

    Edit: PQi 3G model.

Did you try the unbrick procedure with the Adam? Not sure if that is part of the everything you tried, but it is the best way to recover from a serious problem.

    Good Luck,

    hey DeniseM;
excuse me if a state anything obvious....
if you been messing around alot and you cant guarantee you haven't broken something start by re-downloading the adam recovery kit (http://api.notionink.com/fix/windows/PixelQi.zip)
ive had trouble (when i've messed around and broke my adam) with the default recovery, so replace it with Clockworkmod recovery,
you can get this by pulling it (recovery.img) out of the .zip file
    (http://www.multiupload.com/2CSTO0P9M2)
and copying it to the PixelQi folder thats in the recovery kit (backup the original)
Can i asume you have the APX driver installed and the device is detected and you have it in "recovery mode" (orange and red light on)?
    if so run download.bat
it will do its thing and reboot
it will most likely go into a boot loop again so....
power on holding vol+ and in clockworkmod recovery choose wipe data/factory reset
the most common reason for a boot loop is the /data partition hasn't been cleared
you'll notice this process will show you on screen what partitions are being erased; /cache being one of them
with those two partitions wiped you should be able to reboot into Eden

good luck, let us know how you get on

    Hi all!
I've done the official unbrick procedure using this file: http://notionink.com/45-flash/flash_wifiPQ.zip and using official instructions (the same on the link you suggest me).
I wiped all before and after unbrick procedure (I'm using linux).
Here's the log (all seems ok to me):

Problem seems to be mounting some partitions...
Here's the log when I turn on in recovery mode my adam:

    E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk3p1
    (No such file or directory)
    E:Can't mount SDCARD:recovery/command
    E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk2
    (No such file or directory)
    E:Can't mount SDCARD2:recovery/command
    E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk3p1
    (No such file or directory)
    E:Can't mount SDCARD:recovery/log
    E:Can't open SDCARD:recovery/log

Do you have the same error messages starting in recovery mode?

The only thing I never tried is replacing standard recovery with clockwork on the original rom, but I tried the clockwork recovery "standalone", wiping very everything but with no luck...
I don't want to sent my adam for rma... :-(

have you wipe cache and factory reset after flashing?

if not power down adam.-> boot in recovery->wipe cache ->factory reset -> reboot
    Should work.

the log messages are seen in mind also...I ignore them

    DeniseM;
that log differs from mine in two ways the recovery is different (i assume its the default one your flashing).
    and the system.img
i have QI/3g too, use mine and see how you get on (wait 30 mins from time of this post)

    Hi!
    No hope...
I've tried your solution (thanks!) but problem is still here...
I've tried also formatting all partitions using cwm.
I cannot format nor mount /data partition. Probabily here's the problem...
I think my last solution is send my adam for rma...

just to check you mentioned that your using the same unbrick kit as i am but did you actually re-download it? something may be corrupted.

im not sure of the results of in CWM going to; advanced - partition SD card or in; mounts and storage - format sdcard ? so i can't recommend it as ive never done it.
also there is a button inside the adam that when used at the same time as the power button when you turn it on restores something, but again ive never done it.
If you dont fancy taking the Adam apart you can also run the battery beyond flat( by constantly turning it on and waiting till' it turns itself off, again and again and .......) This clears some setting but i have never done this either and i cant predict what this does to the batteries.

i can provide you with a NANDROID backup if you like, worth a shot!?

    Hi!
I downloaded all and replace the .img files.
I tried also running out completely the battery!
I tried also formatting all using CWM...
If you can give me a nandroid backup it'll be great! But how can I use it? With cwm?
    Thanks a lot!
