    Why Are Downloads So Slow?

It seems downloads from both the market and the amazon appstore take an incredibly long amount of time on my adam. It' been downloading updates to 11 apps, and after 45 minutes, only 20% done. I got the Amazon app of the day, Office Suite Pro 5, and it took 20 minutes to download-after it failed once after 10 minutes or so. Using the same wireless router, both my phone and Nook Color download the same apps in literally seconds. What is making it so slow!?

    Have you tried a reboot?
In fire and EMS? Check the Play Store for my current apps Code Log and Pumper calc.

Have you done a speed test on your device? I wonder if it would show there.

Did a speed test, it shows 22mbps download, the same as my other devices. so i cleared cache and reflashed ACV3, and it seems only a little better. Now it will download apps and updates, but starts out with 8kb chunks, then after some time, and randomly, will download faster. Web surfing is slow also, and overall it seems to be very sluggish. i may just flash a froyo rom to see what happens.

My AC was getting more and more frustrating so I went back to Beast, now everything is smooth as a babies bottom again. All the tablet optimised deliciousness was not worth the aggravation of continuous hiccups.
Hoping ICS will come soon though Beast is a pleasure to work with
