Well, it looks ok. Thought has no full sized USB and no Pixel QI. And it is still 2 cores Tegra2, shouldn't we be saving some $ for Tegra3 instead of buying \outdated\ stuff?
Remote control is a nice to have feature, thought!

seeing into the Future.. "Hey mom, where's my 9" remote control, i seem to have lost it?"
I think most would go for a smaller remote, and before you actually get to the button you want to press, i got coffe, put sugar in it, and already went surfing on alot of other channel (not saying a tablet is slow)..
a remote app here, is really just killing spare time, its simply too slow.

Not quite true... When you have Receiver + BlueRay + TV + digital TV + HDMI + WiFi Radio, then you need one good remote. There are some from logitech with LCD, ofc it should be greatly programmable for activites, otherwise useless.

Remember it's Sony, so will probably work with their kit, as soon as you get it to work with anything else they will remove the feature and Sue the crap out of you. Before making sure you have to sign up to t&c stopping you collectively suing when its shoddy practices mean your data gets published to every 2 bit cyber skript kiddie.

I got a chance to play with this wedge shaped model yesterday and I really was not impressed at all when compared next to the transformer, galaxy tab, thrive or Adam itself. Not very comfortable in the hand and felt really cheap to be honest.

That's a little surprising, I may not like their business practices but generally their products are good (IMHO) - have e-reader, laptop and would have got TV if I hadn't started to boycott them.
Think every time a big brand company puts out dross it hurts the non iPad market.
