Adam Kernel Compilation on Opensse 11.4

HI I am trying to compile the Adam kernel sources

    1) Setup github and pulled the adam kernel sources to a directory in my home directory (src/notion/adam-kernel)

    2) Grabbed my config.gz file from the adam, unzip it and renamed it to .config in src/notion/adam-kernel directory

    3) change my path to include src/notion/adam-kernel at the beginning of the path

    4) exported ARCH=arm environment variable to change it from x86

    5) Reverted make to version 3.81

    6) ran make menuconfig to check it is referencing the right file.

output of make command is below

    make -j4 arch=armv7a

    make: arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc: Command not found
    scripts/kconfig/conf -s arch/arm/Kconfig
arch/arm/mach-tegra/malata_smb/Kconfig:34:warning: config symbol defined without type
arch/arm/mach-tegra/malata_smb/Kconfig:87:warning: config symbol defined without type
arch/arm/mach-tegra/malata_smb/Kconfig:92:warning: config symbol defined without type

The help I need is the following what are the correct cross compile options for an adam ?

It looks to me that either the environment is not setup correctly or I have to pass further option to make in order to get it to built the kernel possibly the correct cross compile variable for the nvidia tegra2 arm processor?

Any help would be appreciated ?

Did you install a cross compiler? If so pass the name of it in CROSS_COMPILE env variable, e.g. if it's arm-eabi-gcc, you pass CROSS_COMPILE=arm-eabi-
