[TIPS] Market not showing certain apps

So I have been dealing with this issue on and off.

I have copied permissions off other roms, edited the handheld_core_hardware.xml.

    All with random results.

So just to test, I wiped and flashed stock. Booted, reboot and flash the market+root hack. Made sure the first thing after setting the time and wifi, was to load the Market app, logged in and let it do it's thing.

Exited the app, loaded it again and searched for "gps status and dolphin hd browser".

Both apps that usually don't show were there.

After this I proceed to customize and reinstall my apps.

Some times I forget this, flash other roms, customize and install my apps, forgetting to log into Market first and come up with this same issue of not all apps showing, I use those two previously mentioned as markers..

This has happend with Edenx and Beast, I don't remember off hand if it happens with other roms..

So theory here is the Market app does something (configuration, setup) and does it correctly if you make sure you log in first thing..

Still not sure if this is consistent, but it's been my observation so far..

If you have any ideas, confirmation on other roms, please post.

    -CC

EDIT: The typical force close Market, Force Close and clear data on Framework. Load Market app to get error, reboot and wait before loading Market method was not working. At least not if I would forget to "initialize" Market first thing after flashing.

No everybody would want to reflash. Perhaps we could find where Market stores it settings.

And or what these changes or settings are to do them manually. Yeah, I agree would be nice to find out, to be able to fix this manually.
