    Hi,
after changes suggested here by Gormar I managed to start 3G internal modem. Interesting, with "normal" 2G/3G network ex "Era" now "T-Mobile" network connection started even without any access point added. After that I changed SIM Card and tried to connect to LTE network Aero2 (which works flawlessly with 2.2v4b) with no luck (adding Access Point this time). Any ideas, where are config files/data for modem connection stored?

I have decided to write here because I know some answers to few problems with actual configuration of CyanogenMod 9 on Toshiba AC100.

Before we start reconfiguring it is necessary to remount system partition in RW mode (Read-write). To do so: run Terminal Emulator and enter these commands:
    su
    mount -o remount,rw /system

After that you can start solving problems .

    1. Back key (presented by zombah): edit /system/usr/keylayout/nvec_keyboard.kl and change line:
    key 158 ESCAPE WAKE
    to
    key 1 ESCAPE WAKE

Steps: from command line enter vi and start editing
VI quickest guide: place text cursor between 1 and 58 then press x two times.
    Other useful tips:
    start edit by pressing i
stop edit by pressing CTRL + [ or ESCAPE key
write file by entering in navigation mode: :wq and pressing ENTER

    2. Use internal modem
Edit file: /system/build.prop and change rmnet0 to wwan0 in line:
    rild.libargs=-d /dev/ttyACM1 -i rmnet0

Before connecting dont't forget to set proper APN.
Remember that modem connection will be only used in case that wifi is disconnected or disabled.

    3. Auto mount SD card and/or USB mass storage:
    Edit: /system/etc/vold.fstab
    Change second line:
    dev_mount external_sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.1/mmc_host/mmc1
    to
    dev_mount external_sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.0/mmc_host/mmc1
    Chnge third line:
    dev_mount external_usb_disk /mnt/usb_storage auto /devices/platform/tegra-ehci
    to
    dev_mount external_usb_disk /mnt/usb_storage auto /devices/platform/tegra-ehci.1 /devices/platform/tegra-ehci.2

No you can enjoy you almost completly functional Toshiba AC100 .

But there are still some problems to hard for me to resolve.
Firts: system hang playing H.264 wideo (no mather if it is youtube or MXPlayer or even system Gallery while generating thumbnails).
    Very iritating.
Second: nvec driver crush which disable keyboard and touchpad.
My only solution is to use bluetooth keyboard and mouse in that case.

Kudos to zombah, paz00 and other people activly working on this project.

    I would try following steps:

Connect ac100 to the pc, start ac100 in developer mode (ctrl, esc & power)
Flash to the 6th partition http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/1...+ac100.bootimg
Save http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/1...f+ac100.tar.gz to the usb pendrive
Then start ac100 with SD card and USB pendrive in ac100. Bootimg you installed will find tarball on usb and check it. And you will be asked to press y if you want to install ubuntu on SD card.
SD card will be formatted and on the end ubuntu started with configuration mode.

I understand you did all the same steps by hand. Hope that described procedure will work for you as it worked several times (I played with different configs and lubuntu) for me.

    Take it easy ;-)

Switch machine off. Wait 15 seconds. Disconnect the battery. Connect. Start again. No screen? Start again in recovery (pressed Home button).
Still no screen? Connect to the computer and flash full 2.1 or 2.2v4b again. Do not forget to restart ac100. If it works, try again with 4.0prev files and ubuntu. If not, search for new source of 2.1 images.

    - nvflash -r --rawdevicewrite 9984 153600 img/system.img OK
    - nvflash -r --rawdevicewrite 369664 632320 img/userdata.img OK
    - nvflash -r --download 5 img/boot.img OK
    - nvflash -r --download 6 ../ubuntu-12.04-preinstalled-desktop-armhf+ac100.bootimg KO: Nvflash started [resume mode] ... and stops here
